Every year, iACT’s Hands on Housing has two major repair days: Raise the Roof in the fall, and The Spring Blitz in spring. On these days, dozens of homes in Austin are painted and repaired by groups of volunteers who have a desire to serve their neighbor. People of all faiths and all backgrounds join this repair day to improve their community and lend a helping hand.

This year’s Spring Blitz will be held on Saturday, April 8, and we’re looking for more volunteers to help us out! We need about 50 more volunteers to join our ranks, preferably in teams on 5-10 people each. However, individuals are still welcome to volunteer. You can choose to be part of a “support team” which will aid an experienced, already formed team, and which will require no training prior to the Spring Blitz event date (April 8).
