Mrs. Josephine Giles had exterior portions of her home repaired during this year’s Spring Blitz! Josephine lives with her extra-friendly Chihuahua mix Penny in the house her and her late husband purchased brand new when they got married. This house and the Montopolis neighborhood have been her home for 64 years.

Josephine and Clarence only had one son of their own but adopted several others in the years. She used to work as an apartment manager and at the same time her and her husband fostered children for Child Protective Services, so she ended up with way more grandkids that she can manage to keep count of. Along with many happy memories there are some sad ones tied to this place, like losing both her husband and her sister, but Josephine still loves her house and we’re honored to help a long-time local resident continue to live safely and proudly in her home.
