Mrs. Helen Miller was served during Hands on Housing’s Raise the Roof 2022 home repair event. Mrs. Miller has lived in her home 38 years. She raised her daughter, adopted and raised her great niece and great nephew. She has been an advocate for her children’s education and for the less fortunate all of her adult life. She recovered from spinal surgery and paralysis and now walks with a cane. Her advice to young people is to never give up on their goals. Everything and anything is possible with hard work and a positive attitude.
