Doris, a Hands on Housing client, is a can-do woman who has raised three generations of children. An expert penny-pincher, Doris purchased her home over twenty years ago and paid it off in record time. After receiving help from our Hands on Housing volunteers for a kicked in door and leaky roof, Doris got inspired and now serves as the Volunteer Manager of a local food pantry that helps hundreds of individuals on a monthly basis.
