Edna Earls spent her childhood years in the house her mother bought when it was built in 1963. It was this house that Hands on Housing was able to help repair during the 2021 Spring Blitz. She moved back in to be a caretaker for her ailing mother until she passed away a few years back and now lives in the house with her husband.
Ms. Earls used to work in daycares and group homes for special needs individuals, facilities owned by the State Health Department, then known as MHMR. She now enjoys spending time at home watching tv, particularly “The Price Is Right”, and going out for a meal on occasions. Edna has 3 children, 16 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
If you would like to join Hands on Housing for our next housing repair event from October 11-31, please register a team here.
