This year’s iLEARN Summer Refugee Youth Program has officially come to an end. Overall we had the opportunity to work with 15 different refugee youth for the month of July on various English language projects. Because of Covid, we once again had to have iLEARN on a virtual platform, which is very different from our usual in person program! Now that the program has ended, we will continue working with the youth through mentoring and tutoring during the school year. If you are intersted in becoming a refugee youth volunteer for the 2021-2022 school year, if you would like to intern with the refugee youth program for the 2021-2022 school year, or if you know of a teen refugee who would like to be mentored, please email Refugee Youth Program Coordinator Maggie Wagner at mwagner@interfaitthexas.org.
