Mrs. Lucy Medel’s home was repaire during the 2021 Speing Blitz. Mr.s Medel is 80 years old and has lived in her home for 60 years, since she and her husband got married. She has raised her children in this house, 3 daughters, and has 3 grandkids and 4 great-grandkids.

Lucy now lives in the home with 2 of her 3 daughters: Bernice, who is disabled, and Sarah, who is the caretaker for both sister and mom. 

Before retiring Ms. Medel used to work at UT as a housekeeper, cleaning the student accommodations. Nowadays she likes to spend time outside watching the urban wildlife and birds, and enjoys Western movies on tv.
