Mr. Aubrey Headen’s home was repaired as a part of the 2021 Spring Blitz. This house was passed on to Mr. Headen through his late wife’s family, it belonged to his father-in-law and eventually became his after his wife Lula’s death in 2005. 

They lived here together for 40 years, he has many great memories of their happy time in this home and traveling together. Aubrey and Lula had  2 sons and he now has 7 grandchildren. He also has a sister that lives in a nursing home and a nephew, named Aubrey as well, who visits him often and helps him out with errands.

Mr. Headen retired after many years as a truck driver for the City of Austin. He has some eyesight issues so he can’t drive anymore and spends most of his time at home, but used to fish as a hobby back in the days.
