The morning of Wednesday January 27th, as iACT staff members were coming to work, they noticed the trailer storing Season for Caring donations for Ms. Rosa Lee Pennick was gone from the parking lot. After a thorough search, the trailer was nowhere to be found. Both it and all of the donations inside for Ms. Pennick were gone. The items lost included:
- A wheelchair ($300)
- An electric scooter with hands controls ( $1900)
- A large capacity washer and dryer ($600)
- A new stove/oven ($500)
- Adult Diapers ($120)
- Bed Pads ($45)
In total, $3465 worth of donated items were stolen. Some of the major local media outlets were kind enough to report this story and get the word out about our stolen donations:
