We live in a world where fear, violence and injustice are common; where so many people struggle to survive, make ends meet, and live in dignity. Though we come from many faith traditions, we all agree on the necessity to help those in need. iACT focuses on offering diverse people the opportunity to work together to improve the lives of others in our own community. Our motto is simple: “People of all faiths doing good together.”
Thank you for all your support in 2014, together we are making a difference!
Here are some accomplishments in iACT’s service programs:
- Taught English to over 850 refugee clients who have escaped political and religious persecution from 15 countries.
- Completed critical repairs on 55 homes for low-income seniors and individuals living with disabilities. Currently 45 homes are still in progress.
- Held 18 Red Bench conversations, providing a safe platform for meaningful and respectful interfaith dialogue.

Your support allows us to build community with newly-arrived refugees, restore dignity and hope by repairing homes, and create transformative experiences through our Red Bench dialogues.
- $1000 helps us patch a leaky roof for a Hands on Housing client.
- $500 pays for a week of ESL classes at our school for newly arrived refugees from around the world.
- $250 provides summer enrichment activities for refugee children to prepare them for school.
- $100 allows us to train moderators to facilitate respectful interfaith dialogue.
- $50 buys paint supplies for volunteers to work on a Hands on Housing project.
- $25 provides one bilingual dictionary for our ESL program.
Please help us continue this vital work by donating online or mailing in a check to iACT!
