I wanted to work here because it provides much needed services for Austin and all those that live there. iACT helps to support the local community while also being a fun, engaging place to work.
What do you enjoy the most about working with iACT?
I enjoy going out into different areas and seeing aspects of Austin I have never seen before. I was born and raised in Austin but I still find so much of my home town that I have never visited
What’s the most challenging thing about working with iACT that you have experienced?
The most challenging part of working with iACT is mastering the learning curve. There is so much to learn here and projects go by very fast. So it is sometimes very challenging trying to stay on top of all the information.

The most rewarding part of working with iACT is meeting with the customers and telling them all the home repairs they are going to see. Additionally, it is so rewarding to look at post work surveys and see the before and after pictures. You see how much iACT was able to help them and how grateful they are for the service.
Why would you encourage others to perform similar volunteer work with iACT?
I would definitively encourage others to do similar work with iACT because it really is benefiting Austin and it provides so much room for growth. It is a great place to get professional and personal experience while also making a real impact in the local community.
