Recently my morning devotional time led me to Isaiah 52:7 which reads, “How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace who brings good news of happiness, who publishes salvation…………..”. I immediately glanced down at my feet, which are not looking so pretty these days due to social distancing and the removal of my regularly scheduled first world pedicure appointments!
Our world feels like it’s been flipped upside down during this season. Instead of us scurrying around our community to meetings and coffee dates, we are confined to our homes. It would seem that in our homes our feet don’t have many places to go but this is not so.
In biblical times they mostly traveled barefoot so feet being aesthetically beautiful was not a common thing. Feet were oftentimes worn, cracked and dusty, but had the capability of carrying messages of peace, happiness and salvation.
It occurred to me that right here in my home I too could use my feet within this quarantined square footage to carry messages of hope, faith, love, peace and happiness during this time of uncertainty. I invite you to do the same. Where will your feet carry you today?

We want to hear from you!
Where would your feet (virtually) carry you today to spread messages of hope? Who in your life are you most concerned about today? Let us know your thoughts by responding here.
Here are a few things people have shared:
How can you be like the rain lily, making beauty after the storm of this pandemic season?
“Continue making people, animals and our environment feel loved, respected and cared for. I continue listening to my students, loved ones and offering hope. I continue feeding ducks at the park and planting my garden. As long as I’m here breathing I have an obligation to contribute what I can even if it is just bringing a smile to someone. ” -Lillian
When was the last time nature inspired you?
“My visit to the Grand Canyon a couple months ago where every view was awe inspiring. There are not enough words to describe the beauty and majesty of this place.” -Mary
