I am from the Midwest.
How long have you been in Austin?
I’ve lived in Austin for more than a decade.
What do you do at iACT?
I am a Health and Wellness Social Worker and English Language Instructor in iACT’s Refugee Program.
What is the most challenging thing about the work you do at iACT?
Finding just the right resources for individuals and classes. We strive to meet people where they are at, and that requires special attention and detail orientation.
What is the most rewarding thing about the work you do at iACT?
Connection: people to people; people to community resources
